                    ENTHRONEMENT
                              OF
            THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in your home is a joyous and spiritual cermony. This was a request of the Blessed Mother at Fatima and also at her most recent appearances. On behalf of Father Ringenback, Paula Novak, President of the Legion of Mary, St. Bernard's Parish, would like to invite one and all of our parishioners to experience this rewarding ceremony. We are also priveleged to bring the Pilgrim Statue of the Blessed Mother to your home.

our lady of peace prayer room

As announced in the bulletin, the former Meeting Room on the south end of Saint Bernard's church building has been transformed into a Prayer Room, dedicated to Our Lady of Peace. The room provides space for prayer or faith-sharing gatherings of up to twenty people. Chairs are arranged in a circle around a circular rug and table, which serves as a prayer table and will be decorated in accordance with the liturgical season. There is also a small shrine area, dedicated to Our Lady, with plants and two chairs for prayer and meditation. The artwork on the walls may change periodically.

In an effort to keep the Prayer Room in use for its intended purpose, we have developed guidelines for use of the room. These guidelines have been sent to groups which would normally use the room on a regular basis for prayer and/ or faith-sharing: Men's Catholic Fellowship, Morning Prayer Group, Legion of Mary, Charismatic Prayer Group; Bereavement Group, Marriage Preparation, Infant Baptism Preparation. Other groups may request to use the room for special prayer or faith-sharing activities.

If any group other than those listed above wishes to use the room for prayer and faith-sharing, please make all requests as far in advance as possible to Fran Witkowski at stbrnd@optonline.net
or 516-731-4220
