The new translation of the Nicene Creed now used by Catholics gives us the opportunity to explore the central teachings of our faith and what they have to do with real life. This monthly series will discuss such questions as:
What does "consubstantial" mean anyway? Does God actually have a "right hand?" Why do Protestants believe in the "one, holy, catholic and apostolic" Church?
Awakening Faith Discussion Group for Catholics in their 20s-40s. Selected Saturday mornings 9 - 10:15 a.m.
Timed to coincide with our Saturday morning children's religious education classes, this is a group for those younger Catholic adults who are seeking to better understand and connect with their Catholic faith. Topics include What is spirituality?, Why does Mass matter?, Who is Jesus really anyway? and other topics selected by the participants. No topic is off-base.
