 Catholic Youth Organization Basketball
The St. Bernard Youth Basketball Program serves over sixteen hundred young people in the Levittown community. The program consists of a boys' and a girls' intramural league for young people in grades three through ten. We have an extensive travel program for both boys and girls in fourth through twelfth grade who participate in CYO, as well as the Island Garden League. Our Cheerleading program features teams in the fourth through eighth grades, with a special competition team for the older girls. We also have a spring league for boys in grades seven through ten. This past year we have added the "St Bernard Superstars" program for children with special needs. We sponsor six summer basketball camps and a JV basketball league in the summer for our local high schools
Our goal as an organization is that every person involved with our program - including coaches, players, and parents - enjoy the sport and interact with one another in a Christian manner . We believe both that many lessons learned through sports can be applied to life in the years to come, and that Christian values can be expressed in sports competitions.
