Ministry of Praise

St. Bernard's Ministry of Praise is designed so those in need of prayer can be supported by those in the parish who can commit themselves to praying for them daily.

At the back of our church, under the north spiral staircase, is a large book called Hear Our Prayer.  Parishioners are invited to write intentions in this book.  Once a month, a letter from Sister Christine Sammons, Parish Social Ministry Coordinator, and a list of intentions is mailed to about 30 parishioners who promise to pray for those mentioned on the list.

This is a wonderful ministry for both active and homebound parishioners, and it is a tremendous support to those who are concerned about their own needs and the needs of others.
