Rev. Gerard A. Ringenback

"Father Jerry" our pastor, has been at St.Bernard's for five years. His responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of Parish Life. He was previously pastor at St.Peter the Apostle Parish in Islip Terrace for 12 years and prior to that he was Spiritual Director at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, NY for 5 years. He has also been associated with various other parishes as Associate Pastor. He has attended the Immaculate Conception Seminary, Fordham University and St.Pius X Preparatory Seminary. He was born in Rockville Centre, NY and ordained in 1972. His interests are bargain hunting and gardening.

Rev. Vincent J. Ritchie, S.J.

"Father Vin" has been Associate pastor since 2002. He oversees the Adult Faith Formation, the Baptism program, and Liturgical Services (Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers). His previous associations include: St.Anthony's parish in Oceanside, LI; St.Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY and the Fordham Jesuit Community. He has attended Fordham University, Woodstock Jesuit College, NY University, Yale University and the University of Chicago. He was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and ordained in June 8,1974. His favorite pastime is watching Notre Dame Football.

Monsignor George Graham is Pastor Emeitus at St. Bernard's and has been here since 1981. His duties include Mass, Confessions, Director of Nocturnal Adoration, he presides at Monday evening Miraculous Medal Novena and Benediction and he conducts a Bible Class for all who would like to attend. He attended Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington where he attained a Masters in Divinity, The Catholic University in Washington, DC where he attained his J.C.D.. and NY University where he attained a PH.D He was born in Brooklyn (St.Cecilia'sParish) and ordained in 1952 for the Brooklyn Diocese. His interests are reading, teaching and the study of theology. He's also a great NY Giants Football fan.
   

Rev. Gerard Gentleman

 

Father Gerard is chaplain at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School.He has resided here at St.Bernard's for the past 4 years and assists at mass and baptisms on the weekends. He is also our Youth Group moderator. He was previously associate pastor at St.Kilian's parish in Farmingdale.He is also chaplain for the Diocesan Boys and Girl Scout Program. He attended Immaculate Conception Seminary, SUNY Fredonia, and Connectiquot HS. He was born in Queens NY, but grew up in Levittown. He was ordained in 1997. His interests are Theatre, Music, The NY Mets and hiking.

   

Sister Margaret is the Director of Religious Education, and has been at St.Bernard's Parish for 4 years. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Religious Education Program for grades 1- 8, also the R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)Program, the Baptism program and Children's Liturgy of the Word. She was previously Director of Development for the Sisters of St.Dominic , Amityville, NY. Prior to that she was Director of Religious Education at St. Mark's, Brooklyn, NY and she's also taught at Good Shepherd Parish. She has attended St. Francis Elementary School, St Michael's HS , St John's University, Fordham University and St Michael's in Vermont She was born in Brooklyn, NY. Her interests are gardening, cooking and reading.
Sister Margaret is a member of the Sisters of St.Dominic Amityville, NY.
