Dear Families and Friends of St. Bernard's:

Hey everyone! Great to be with you here in spirit. SO much has been going on lately, and it's been wonderful. Youth Ministry is back in full swing and we are pumping along. It's been really great. First, the past few weeks we have been really taking some time in getting to know the newest members of the Youth Ministry. We spent some great moments sharing questions with each other and talking about what our interests are, laughing a lot, and seeing what makes us unique. We have seen such a growth in people this year, and we have such a great group!

. .
Also, we had a chance to have a viewing of the movie, "Bella". For anyone who hasn't seen this beautiful work of cinematic art, I highly recommend it for you and your families. It portrays such a wonderful story about life and love. Blockbuster definitely does have it if any of you are interested. Before I say any more on it though, I suggest you see it first, then we can have a nice deep conversation about life that it will surely inspire! .

Last Sunday night we spent time together as a group focusing on four very powerful words: forgiveness, vulnerability, redemption, and peace. We spent the night focusing on activities to help create peace in our lives and the lives of the people closest to us through forgiveness and love. It was an incredible meeting, and the Youth never cease to amaze me when it comes to opening up to one another and having a prayerful night together.

Tomght, we will have another great meeting, this time we are going to relax a little bit more, have a few more laughs, and enjoy each other's company. Nights like this are always so important to have. Just some time to bond and to be who we are, where we are. There is really nothing like it. .

To finish off for the night, I would like to remind anyone out there that there is still room available for the Six Flags Great Adventure trip! It's $70 and includes ticket to park, bus ride, and lunch. It's actually a pretty sweet deal! If you have any questions just give me a call, and there are permission slips available in the rectory! Please make the check out to "St. Bernard's Church" if you are going! .

In the meantime, I leave you with a beautiful quote:
